SYNOPSIS

Viviana was once a dreamer. Now, at forty, she drifts through a life that looks nothing like the one she imagined as a child. Haunted by sorrow since her earliest days, she fled home young, seeking shelter in the lives of others — becoming an actress. But even the stage, once her sanctuary, no longer offers solace. Nor do men. She’s been left again. Pleasure feels distant. She tries to make sense of it all through therapy, but the answers slip through her fingers. She is alone. Most of the people she loved are gone. Her deepest bond is with her mother — but something is changing. Her mother begins to act strangely, forgetfully. Then comes the diagnosis. A slow unraveling begins. Memories fade. Soon, even Viviana’s face may vanish from her mother’s mind. Still, she stays. Grief builds inside her like a storm. It spills over, stealing her breath. But now, breathing is everything — not just for herself, but for her mother. In a world gone dark, Viviana must find, or invent, tiny sparks of light. Fireflies of joy in the night.
