SYNOPSIS

Synopsis "A Jewish convert. A Muslim doctor. One holy snip - and a whole lot of tension." SNIPPED follows Adam, a young Jewish convert, as he prepares for his ritual circumcision carried out at a small Muslim clinic in Denmark. What begins as a personal rite quickly unfolds into a humorous and touching exploration of identity, faith, and the often absurd complexity of cultural traditions. Caught between a Jewish father, a Christian mother, and a Muslim doctor, Adam stands at the crossroads of three worlds. Through absurd humour and quiet vulnerability, the film examines how identity is shaped, challenged, and ultimately enriched through unlikely encounters. Inspired by the director’s own experience, SNIPPED is a story about coexistence. About finding common ground across divides, and about the quiet, awkward, human moments that can bring us closer together despite our differences.
