SYNOPSIS

A table tennis prodigy still just a boy sees what he should not. Years later, now a factory worker, he recalls the fragments: table tennis drills, a birthday card, snow, a door that should never be opened. "Zhang Shufen" blurs memory and nightmare to expose a family's hidden abuse and a community's silence. What begins as one secret becomes a portrait of a society where silence itself is violence.
