SYNOPSIS
The arrival of a popular politician in town rekindles Sabri’s (72) long held dream: to meet the leader and take a photo with him. To make this happen, he relies on the help of his nephew Ahmet (38), who prefers to keep politics at a distance and live a quiet life. Reluctantly, Ahmet agrees to accompany his uncle. Sabri finally meets the leader, has the long awaited photo taken, and is promised a framed copy. The entire ceremony is filmed by the party. On the way back, tensions rise between uncle and nephew when Ahmet insists that the party will never actually send the photo. Days pass and life seems to return to normal until the video of Sabri’s meeting spreads online, and Ahmet suddenly finds himself perceived as a political figure. Rumors circulate among his students, some parents grow uneasy, and both his professional and social life begin to narrow. The promised photo never arrives, and Sabri grows increasingly unsettled, turning his disappointment into a matter of pride. While Ahmet struggles with the turmoil the viral video has unleashed in his own life, he is also forced to find a way to ease his uncle’s mounting disillusionment.
