SYNOPSIS

In 2025 Myanmar, a bread factory stands at the edge of a war zone. When the generator fails and the owner vanishes, supervisor Oo Win Ko forces the workers to face a brutal choice: stay and defend the factory as their last refuge, or abandon everything to the chaos of a world at war. As distant explosions rattle the walls, fear collides with responsibility, and fragile hopes flicker like faint lights in the dark. Every decision feels impossible, yet there is no turning back. Solitary Wave captures ordinary people pushed to the brink, risking everything for a chance to survive, to keep a semblance of life, and to hold on to each other in the shadow of collapse.
