SYNOPSIS

Jesús Lacorte, director of the film, travels to Tenerife with the aim of creating a portrait of María Luisa, his mother, who lives in the Canary Islands and is originally from Jerez de los Caballeros (Extremadura), on the occasion of Mother's Day. During this journey into the director's own family's past, María Luisa will read a farewell letter to her own mother, accompanied by current 16mm analogue images of both Jerez and Tenerife.
