SYNOPSIS

Luxembourg, 2004. Ten-year-old Melisa, a Bosnian immigrant, struggles to fit in at her small-town school, finding solace only in music. Isolated and facing prejudice, she dreams of owning a piano, sneaking into the classroom to play whenever she can. At home, she witnesses her mother’s sacrifices, working tirelessly to make ends meet. As the holiday season approaches, Melisa’s longing for a piano seems impossible, yet small acts of kindness and the bond with her mother reveal that music and hope can be found in the most unexpected places.
