SYNOPSIS

In the dim glow of Brussels’ tango halls, sixty-something Sergio with his 1930 charm and broken French, moves with quiet grace, a recognized yet enigmatic presence. I shadow Sergio through his nocturnal rituals, focusing on the unspoken dialogue between gazes. The camera lingers on his glances at women and the glances they return, a silent dance of longing and intrigue. Despite warm greetings from familiar faces, an underlying tension remains. Will he find a partner to dance with tonight? In the fleeting embraces of tango, Sergio searches for connection, each gaze and step revealing a man caught between belonging and solitude, intimacy and distance.
