SYNOPSIS

Short: In a culture where silence is survival, a queer man and a mother of queer children risk everything to speak their truth, challenging generations of tradition, defying societal judgment, and reshaping what love and family mean in South Asia. Long: Set against the backdrop of South Asian traditions, this documentary confronts the collision of identity, culture, and love. Aditya, a queer man preparing to come out, stands at the edge of an emotional precipice—torn between his truth and the fear of being cast out by his family. His journey is a raw portrait of courage in the face of possible abandonment. On the other side is Saima, a mother navigating the uncharted path of supporting her queer children while resisting the weight of societal judgment. Her struggle is as much within her own heart as it is against the world around her. Intertwining their stories, the film becomes a testament to resilience, exploring the deep rift—and fragile bridges—between generations, tradition, and the right to live authentically.
