SYNOPSIS

Millions of Eastern European immigrants have fled the war in Ukraine. Each one of them goes through a harrowing emotional journey far from home. Anya, Mila, and Aleks are Russian American immigrants settling into a new life in Los Angeles after fleeing the war in Ukraine. We experience their everyday struggles to acclimate to life in the West while we learn with them that a smile goes a long way in America.
