When his estranged father Néstor dies, impulsive and stubborn Daniel does the only logical thing: he steals his ashes. Armed with years of resentment, unresolved daddy issues, and a permanent marker, Daniel sets out to have the conversations they never managed in life—conversations that get strangely easier once he starts hearing his father’s voice echoing from inside the urn. Is it madness, a miracle, or just poor coping skills? Either way, it’s the closest thing to bonding they’ve ever had.
