SYNOPSIS

In a society where traditions take precedence over individual will, Awa, a young widow, is forced to marry her late husband’s younger brother. Refusing this imposed union, she finds herself confronted with family violence that drives her to a desperate act. Accused of attempted murder, she becomes the scapegoat of a patriarchal system determined to break her.
