Many of us wanted to be a teacher or a singer. Against a backdrop of home video footage, my friends recall their first career dreams and the freedom of childhood imagination. And what may have held them back. Because you can’t dream the same future depending on where you come from. And because, when you’re a girl, you often hear far too early what is possible… or reasonable.
