SYNOPSIS

In a hospital room at La Salpêtrière, Lucille holds her child in her arms. Facing the nurse, she imagines recounting her life story : her forbidden love with Georges, her hasty departure for the capital, her escapades, then poverty, wandering and hunger. Little by little, her story mingles with her memories until she finds herself on the edge of the Pont Neuf, ready to jump.
