SYNOPSIS

Léo, a bright and dreamy teenager, suffers from Xeroderma Pigmentosum, a rare disease that forces him to live sheltered from the sun, calling him a "moon child." His life is punctuated by his studies and dreams of freedom, surrounded by his devoted mother and protective sister. Everything changes when the announcement of a new phase of his illness pushes him to realize his dearest dream. "In the Shadow of Life" tells the touching story of Léo, who, faced with the harsh reality of his condition, asks his sister to help him live his dream before it's too late.
