SYNOPSIS

Hugo, 10, disfigured by a rare genetic disease, lives alone and secluded with his mother. One day, Hugo discovers that his comic book author prefers to go into town to sign his new book. The boy absolutely wants to go, but his mother is determined to keep him locked up.
