SYNOPSIS

France, 1943: a firing squad is assembled in a German fort. Among the soldiers, a deeply innocent young man is terrified at the thought of killing a man. Far from imagining that he would defend his country in this way, Hugo sees his naivety and morals put to the test in the face of the atrocities of war.
