BIOGRAPHIE

Director, he was born in Milan. After graduating in classical studies at high school, he studies at DAMS University in Bologna and at the same time he graduates at Scuola Civica of Cinema in Milan. From '93 he realizes five short films, “Triciclies”, “Clinically blacksmith”, “April 5th”, “Tourbillon”, “Ring Around a Rosie” that are presented at Festivals in Venice, Turin, Rome, Bologna, Trieste, Montreal, Montpellier, Annecy, Bastia, Argeles-Sur-Mer, St. Petersburg, Valencia, Umea, New York, Los Angeles, London, winning mentions and awards. He’s the only director selected for the two editions of “Corti Stellari”, the selections of best short film produced in Italy. His short films are bought by several TV networks in Italy and abroad. “Clinically blacksmith” is selected amongst the 33 best short films ever made. In 2010 he realizes the fragment “From 41st” with Gianmarco Tognazzi, representing Italy in the feature “World Champions Stories”. The music is signed by the Academy Award Nominated composer Johan Johannsson. In 2012 he presents his first feature film “Italian Movies” with Aleksei Guskov, Filippo Timi, Michele Venitucci, Eriq Ebouaney, Anita Kravos, Neil D’Souza in competition at the Rome Film Festival. Distributed by Eagle Pictures, the movie receives stellar reviews and participates to festivals in Toronto, Mantova, Maratea, Fort Lauderdale, Montpellier, Villerupt, Grenoble, Toulouse, Madrid, Seattle, Honfleur, Mons, Nantes and Los Angeles.
