BIOGRAPHIE

Graphiste puis directeur artistique pendant plus de dix ans, Stéphane Berla s’est peu à peu distingué en tant que réalisateur de clips aux univers forts pour des artistes tels que Dionysos, -M- ou Gaëtan Roussel, et de courts métrages et publicités mixant l’animation à la prise de vues réelles. Ses films ont été sélectionnés et récompensés dans de nombreux festivals internationaux (Clip d’Or au festival Protoclip, Grand Prix du Festival international de clips, Berlinale, Trickfilm Stuttgart, Anima, Bimini, Imagina, Ottawa…). Il a co-réalisé “Jack et la mécanique du cœur”, son premier long métrage d’animation avec Mathias Malzieu, produit par Virginie et Luc Besson. ENGLISH Stephane Berla is a French director combining live action and animation technics. He worked with great artists like Dionysos, -M-, Gaetan Roussel and his videos have received several awards or have been nominated at several international festivals (including Gloden Prize at the Protoclip festival, Grand Prix at the International Art of Music Videos, Berlinale, Imagina, Anima, Bimini, Ottawa, Annecy, Animac…). He co-directed with Mathias Malzieu his first animated feature film, “The Boy with the Cuckooclock Heart” (Jack et la mécanique du coeur) produced by Virginie and Luc Besson.
