BIOGRAPHIE

Yoshiro Osaka is a filmmaker, cinematographer, editor and writer, born in Hokkaido, Japan. After graduating from high school, he majored in film studies at Brooklyn College in the U.S. and has been based in Tokyo. He has been involved in filmmaking activities in a wide range of genres, including commercials, films, and documentaries, and in recent years has been making independent films while actively participating in projects, especially those set in Asia. His films "My little guidebook" and "My little guidebook ICE" were produced in 2014 and 2016 and both won the Hokkaido Director's Award at the Sapporo International Short Film Festival.
