BIOGRAPHIE

Ingrid Pérez López is a Colombian Filmmaker, she has worked as an assistant director and script supervisor in several Colombian films, short films and TV series. She has written and directed the short films Adentro, A Solas, Sara (Opening Clermont Ferrand) and Mañana, all selected in different International Film Festivals. She is a winner of the Colombian Cinematographic Fund’s Production Awards for short film production in 2019 and 2013. In 2010 she was selected at the Berlinale Talent Campus; and in 2004 winner of the Visual Arts Research Scholarship from the Colombian Ministry of Culture, with the Project Silo-ve un niño (If a child sees it), created by the Ojo Rojo photography club. Ingrid has worked as a script supervisor, second or first assistant director for important Colombian projects such as Solecito by Oscar Ruíz (Quinzaine des Réalisateurs – Cannes 2013); Los Hongos by Oscar Ruíz (Special Jury Prize – Locarno 2014); Los Pasos del Agua by César Acevedo (Semaine de la Critique – Cannes 2016); Candelaria by Jhonny Hendrix (Director’s Award Giornate Degli Autori - Venice 2017); El Alma Quiere Volar by Diana Montenegro (World Premiere Tallinn Black Nights 2020); among others for film and television. Her work as a screenwriter includes the children's television series Guillermina y Candelario produced by Fosfenos Media; and the television series of the Truth Commission in Colombia Hablemos de Verdad (Let's Talk About Truth) as a script advisor and co-writer. Ingrid is currently developing the script for her first feature-length film, Naufragio, project winner of the Colombian Cinematographic Fund’s Writing Award, in 2022.
