BIOGRAPHIE

Maria Steinmetz was studying animation at the University of Film and Television HFF "Konrad Wolf" in Potsdam-Babelsberg. In 2014 she became master scholar in class of Prof. Frank Gessner with her film "Macramé". Since 2015 she is working as freelance animator in Berlin producing her films and leading animation workshops for children and adults. Maria took part in the selection committee and in the juries in international animation film festivals.
