Chris Remerowski was born in Montreal, Quebec in 1976. Chris graduated from the Cinema Studies Program at the University of Toronto in 1999. This past fall, Chris produced, wrote and directed a series of 20 two minute interstitials about the South Asian Community in Canada for VisionTV and ONE: The Body, Mind and Spirit Channel. Co-directed by Genie award nominee Richie Mehta and Gemini award winner Cyrus Sundar Singh, the series features guests like actress Lisa Ray (Bollywood Hollywood and Defendor) and choreographer Lata Pada. A one hour compilation of the 20 interstitials was an official selection at the 2010 Filmi Festival. Chris wrote, produced and directed “Disappeared” in 2009 which premiered at Toronto’s 2009 Lab Cab Festival. Now Magazine’s Greg Sumi said of the film: “Chris Remerowski explores “Blair Witch” Territory in “Disappeared”” Chris wrote, directed, produced and edited the independent feature film “Sixty Days”, in 2006. In 2007 Sixty Days was the winner of the best feature film award at the Slackers Film Festival, an official selection of the Canadian Filmmakers Festival, an official selection at the Wildsound Film Festival (2008) and the recipient of the National Film Board of Canada’s Filmmaker Assistance Program Grant. Chris has edited “Veils Uncovered”, which won best short documentary at the 2002 Reel World Film Festival as well as the 2002 Yorkton Film and Video Festival and the 2002 New York Film Festival. He has also edited episodes of the Gemini award winning series “Skin Deep” and the Gemini nominated series “360 Vision”. Among his numerous other editing credits are the Vision TV documentaries “God Bless America”, episodes of the Gemini award winning series “360 Vision” and “Skin Deep”
