BIOGRAPHIE

Matteo Pianezzi is an Italian director and producer. He started his career as an actor, and after obtaining his degree in Rome, he performed in numerous successful short films: “Smile”, “Caramadre” e “Waiting for”. He is a member of the EFA and of the CNA Cinema and Audiovisivo Sardegna. From 2011 he is the artistic director of the Figari Film Fest, and from 2017 he curates the Figari Film Market. In 2020 he produced “Inverno” by Giulio Mastromauro, which won the Best Short Film Award at the David di Donatello. He is currently developing his first feature film. “S’indattaraiu” (2023) is his latest short film.
