[EN] Ephrem Koering is a french debutant filmmaker. Born in 1993 in Montpellier, Ephrem Koering trained as a director at ENSAV in Toulouse. After graduating, he began his career as a screenwriter. In 2021, he co-wrote the screenplay for the feature film "The Dream Betrayed Me" by Mohammad Shaikhow, which received a grant from the Cinemed Festival, a residency at the Moulin d'Andé, and the Île-de-France Region's Writing Aid. In addition to his writing and directing activities, Ephrem is a member of the organizing committee for the Khurdes Film Festival in Paris. His short film, "Finir au soleil," is his first collaboration with the international distribution company Mailuki Films.
