Joonseong Ahn graduated from Kyung Hee University with a double major in the Department of Theater and Film and International Relations. Afterward, he graduated from the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film, Chung-Ang University with a master's degree in film production as a film directing major. Currently, he is attending the doctoral course in film and media production at the same graduate school, majoring in film directing. He directed short films <A Vicious Circle>(2011), <The Hole>(2012), <Dead Line>(2015), <Bouncer>(2021), <The Nap>(2023). <The Hole> was invited to many national and international film festivals, including the 33rd Blue Dragon Film Awards short competition section, and won the Grand Prize in the short competition section at the 26th Medina del Campo International Film Festival(Spain). <Bouncer> was invited to the national competition section of the 2020 Ulsan International Film Festival, and was screened in the Short Film Corner section of the 74th Cannes Film Festival(France). <The Nap> was invited to the extreme-short Competition section of the 15th Seoul Yeongdeungpo International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival. He also has experience working as a producer at an advertisement production for several years.
