BIOGRAPHIE
Patrick Carelsz is born and raised in Zwolle, The Netherlands. Since his childhood he got a broad passion and interest for visual arts. After graduating at Prague Film School in 2011 he started specializing filmmaking by directing several commercials and corporate-films in St. Petersburg. In 2018 his debut short film “Schuld (Debt)” got it’s première at the Netherlands Film Festival and won the Jury award at the Rabat International Film Festival. His experimental short film “The Right One”, , shot on a smartphone, has won the 8th International Iphone Film festival and is selected for several festivals. Social themes with a personal flinch categorise his films. Aesthetically brought to the screen with a light panache, his stories are meant to inspire and entertain.
