Shinyoo Kang, born in Seoul in 1987, had a childhood in Tokyo from 1990 to 1996. He pursued film studies at Sungkyunkwan University, where he created his first short film, "The Spoon," during his final year. This intriguing film explores the secretive symbolism of a spoon as a hidden object entering someone's mouth. Following graduation, Kang ventured into Korea's animation industry as a producer. He collaborated with the esteemed animation studio, Sunrise Inc., to bring forth the renowned TV series "Flowering Heart." However, Kang transitioned from animation to pursue personal projects as an independent filmmaker. Taking a new step, he enrolled at Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film. Kang's recent release, the short film "Eggs," marks his continued dedication and exploration of the cinematic realm.
