[EN] María Lorenzo Hernández (Alicante, 1977) is Chair Professor of animation at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Universitat Politècnica de València. She is one of the most renowned Spanish animation filmmakers, whose shorts have been selected, exhibited and awarded in more than 40 countries. Nominated for the 2016 Goya Awards for her short film The Night Ocean (2015), her filmography also includes Fashion Victims 2.0 (2023), Urban Sphinx (2020), Impromptu (2017), The Cat Dances with its Shadow (2012), The Carnivorous Flower (2009) and Portrait of D. (2004). María Lorenzo Hernández (Alicante, 1977) es catedrática de animación en la Facultad de Bellas Artes, Universitat Politècnica de València. Es una de las realizadoras de animación más reconocidas de España, cuyos trabajos han sido seleccionados, exhibidos y premiados en más de 40 países. Nominada a los Premios Goya 2016 por su cortometraje La noche del océano (2015), su filmografía también incluye los títulos Fashion Victims 2.0 (2023), Esfinge urbana (2020), Impromptu (2017), El gato baila con su sombra (2012), La flor carnívora (2009) y Retrato de D. (2004).
