[EN] Sanna Liljander is a Finnish filmmaker (BA, Aalto University's ELO) and visual artist (MFA, Art University's Academy of Fine Arts) who works on the borders of video art and cinema. Her documentary films have been screened widely both in Finland (incl. DocPoint, Tampere FF, Midnight Sun FF, Helsinki IFF – Love & Anarchy) and internationally (incl. Edinburgh IFF, Uppsala SFF, Reykjavik IFF, Odense IFF) and awarded, among others, the Risto Jarva Award. Her works are often intimate true stories or slices of life, centered on a main character.
