BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Julia Ketelhut was born in Berlin Pankow in 1989. After school, she completed training as an occupational therapist and worked for years in various psychiatric hospitals. During this time, she realized her first short film and off-theater projects. Since 2016, she has been studying directing at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin. In 2019, she was accepted as a scholarship recipient into the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. In addition to her own projects as director and screenwriter, Julia works as a casting director for feature films. During the Covid pandemic, Julia worked part-time in care at a Berlin residential facility from 2020 to 2024.
