Eugénie Muggleton

BIOGRAPHIE

Eugénie is a director and screenwriter with a love for telling honest, slightly off-kilter stories that won’t easily leave you. From naturalistic dramas to sci-fi dystopias, she creates and consumes content to make sense of the world, exploring the invisible marks we leave on each other that wreck and connect us. As a neurodivergent filmmaker, she’s known for her unique view and focus on creating complicated and diverse female characters. Her work has screened at festivals at home and abroad, with premieres at Flickerfest and Sitges. Since 2021, Eugénie has been directing at Australia’s longest running serial drama, Neighbours, and is currently writing a feature funded by VicScreen.
