BIOGRAPHIE

CHU Hoi-ying earned her BA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and MFA from Hong Kong Baptist University’s Academy of Film. She was a member of Busan International Film Festival’s Asian Film Academy in 2016, and was later selected into the 2019 International Film Business Academy of Busan Asian Film School. In 2019, her short film 3 Generations 3 Days won Best Director and the Fresh Wave Award at the Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival, and Best Live Action Short Film at the Golden Horse Awards.
