Zi Gao is a writer-director born and raised in China. In 2015, she earned her MFA in Film Directing from the California Institute of the Arts in the United States. Her short film ELIZA premiered at the Créteil International Women’s Film Festival and screened at festivals around the world. She was selected in Cannes Cinéfondation Residency in 2019/20 and is an alumna of Berlinale Talents Tokyo. She is currently developing her debut feature film RAJA’S EARLY SUMMER which is supported by the Hubert Bals Script and Project Development Fund.
