David Attali is a French director, artist entrepreneur and producer based in Hong Kong for 26 years. He has helmed a number of creative projects including short films direction and production, performance art and exhibition curation. His talent for language and his quest to understand human nature led him first to explore the documentary form and experimental films. He has received the audience award for “Dance not die”, a study on resilience in age. His early filming works are Videopoetries (Saigon circus, Hi Ya Ho...) aimed to capture beauty of Asia's daily life. "Itch" his first narrative short fiction is a study on pain as metaphor for the stress office politics can create. "Cinema Conversations" had him film (and direct) Catherine Deneuve, Jacques Audiard, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Gaspar Noé, Jalil Lespert, Isabelle Huppert and Christophe Lambert. As a producer, David has led Anastasia Tsang's microfilm "While you lower head".
