Dimitris Zouras was born in Athens in 1994. He studied film directing at Stavrakos film school (2012-2015). Also, he took acting classes in an amateur theatre group for three years and he played in two performances. He has worked as an assistant director and production assistant in short and feature films. He is been working as a casting director at Athens Casting since 2016. (Some films: Broadway, Monday, Pity, All the fires, the fire, Tv series Milky way.). He has written, produced and directed three short films. His student film (Magda, 2016) won the best actress award (Ioanna Trikene) in Drama short film festival. The second film (Mama,2020) won a best screenplay award at the Marathon international film Festival and it was nominated for best short film at the San Francisco Greek film festival. His third short film (Cactus,2022) won the Drama queer award at Drama short film festival.
