BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Anabel Caso is an Argentinian director and screenwriter, who has been living in Mexico for over 20 years. Her debut feature film TRIGAL, has received support from IMCINE (EFICINE, FIDECINE, FIDECINE Post), the Ibermedia Program, and the Sundance Institute. She is the winner of two Ariel Awards; nominated for Best First Feature and winner of three Diosas de Plata; an Official Selection at Morelia, Malaga, Biarritz, Moscow and Goa, among others; the Audience Award at CINEMA DE FEMMES; Best Latin American Feature Film at the Film Festival of Tucumán; Best Director and Best Cinematography at FICMY; and Best Original Score at the Worldwide Women's Film Festival. Her second feature film is "NOCHE DE FICHEROS" for TALIPOT STUDIO, currently in post-production stage. She recently finished the short film CAMELIA that is currently in its festivals circuit. At the moment, Anabel is in development of her third feature film "DESIERTO SALVAJE," starring Alberto Guerra and produced by Marco Polo Constandse (Filmadora Nacional).
