BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] I am an established filmmaker with a deep passion for storytelling and a talent for creating visually captivating and emotionally resonant films. My journey into filmmaking began with a profound love for photography from the age of 15, which guided me to the Higher Institute of Cinema, Cairo, where I earned my degree in Directing in 2016. With 8 years of experience in directing, I have developed a diverse portfolio that includes both award-winning films. My short film The Tea Cart (2015) has received multiple awards, highlighting my ability to craft compelling narratives and stunning visuals. In addition to my work in short films, I have accumulated valuable experience as an executive director on various feature and documentary projects. Notably, I served recently as the executive director for Drama 1882, a project for the Egypt Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia 2024. This role has further enriched my understanding of the film making process and reinforced my commitment to the art of cinema. As I continue to explore new creative horizons, my focus remains on producing films that resonate deeply with audiences and contribute meaningfully to contemporary cinema.
