BIOGRAPHIE

Tan Ce Ding is a Malaysia-based filmmaker who works as a Director and Writer. Tan Ce Ding is an alumnus of the Asian Film Academy (AFA) where he won Motion Picture Association (MPA) President's Special Recognition Award. In 2016, his short film ‘Hawa’ won the Grand Prize in the BMW Shorties, the most prestigious and longest running short film festival in Malaysia. His following short film, “The Masseuse” (selected into 43rd Atlanta Film Festival, 20th Short Shorts Film Festival, 34th Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival) is acquired by Hollywood powerhouse Miramax Studio, to be developed into a feature film. In 2022, he directed, wrote and edited his latest short film "Please Hold the Line" (2022), which made its World Premiere in the 79th Venice Film Festival.
