Tomaž Gorkič

BIOGRAPHIE

Tomaž Gorkič is a film, television and theatre director and scriptwriter, working in Slovenia and Italy. His feature debut Idyll/Killbillies (2015) received more than 20 international film awards, while the satirical horror The Curse of Valburga (2019) premiered at Sitges Film Festival and until now received 8 international awards. Both films were released in cinema, VOD and on DVD in numerous countries around the world. His current development project - The Moon of the Kurent received script and project development support from the Slovenian Film Centre and RE-ACT co-development funding award.
