BIOGRAPHIE

[EN] Born in 1992, she studied film directing at the Korea National University of Arts. She directed the short film NOISE (2017) and co-directed her first feature film KIM MIN-YOUNG OF THE REPORT CARD (2021) with her friend, which is about the friendship of three young women who have just turned twenty. The film was invited to major international film festivals, including the International Film Festival Rotterdam, and attracted a lot of attention when it won the Grand Prize at the Jeonju International Film Festival. The film was released in cinemas in 2022 and was a box office success. Her 2024 film Hansel: Two School Skirts was supported by the Korean Film Council.
