BIOGRAPHIE

Max Walker-Silverman is a filmmaker and writer from rural Colorado. Having been employed as a cowhand, literary editor, and community organizer, he now tells stories about kindness in the American West. His work has received the Kodak Vision Award, The National Board of Review’s Student Award, the Golden Tadpole at Camerimage, the Panavision New Filmmaker Grant, and a Vimeo Staff Pick. He is the first person to receive consecutive NYU Grad Film Wasserman Awards, given previously to the likes of Spike Lee, Cary Fukunaga, and Ang Lee. He lives and works in the mountains of Colorado.
