Mamadou Samba Diallo

BIOGRAPHIE

Born on 1 November 1994 in Tambacounda, Senegal. In 2016, he participated in the workshop "Ateliers Cinéma" (script writing and production) of the city of Mbour (partnership between Belgium and Senegal). Four short films will be produced during these workshops. In 2017, he wrote and directed his first short film "Aliou’s Journey" (selected in 13 festivals). In 2018, he directed his second short film "The Cow" and he his co-director of “The Tabaski’s Thief”. He edit “The 3 Suitors” by Kaba Souaré, “The Tabaski’s Thief” by Mamadou Samba Diallo and Sadibou Diagne and “The Lost Son” by Sadibou Diagne. In 2019, he write the script with Boubacar Hanne Dia and El Hadj Gueye “I am looking for my father” by El Hadj Gueye. He is co-director with Babacar Hanne Dia of “The Veiled Woman”. He edit “I am looking for my father” and “The Veiled Woman”. In 2020, he wrote and directed and edited his third film “The Wheel Turns” in Guinea. He edited too “School in my village” by Kaba Souaré.
