BIOGRAPHIE

Lun Sevnik (b. 1992 in Ljubljana) is a student at the Faculty of Film and Television in Prague (FAMU). He premiered his last short film, Playing, at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Future Frames section (2019), and had its international premiere at the San Sebastian Film Festival (2019). Playing also earned him a nomination for the Magnesia Award for the best student film of the Czech Lion this year. Two of his short films Playing (2019) and Voyage Voyage (2017) won the Vesna Award for Best Student Film at the Slovenian Film Festival (FSF2018, FSF2020). In 2019, he was accepted to the Midpoint Shorts 2019 screenwriting workshop with a screenplay for the diploma film Progress. The film is currently in postproduction phase.
