[EN] Theja Rio, a London-based writer and director, boasts a portfolio that has graced numerous Oscar-qualifying and BAFTA-qualifying film festivals worldwide. In 2015, his debut short was shot in Sicily, Italy, after being handpicked and invited to participate. Under the guidance of renowned industry professionals like cinematographer Manuel Alberto Claro, the film was produced and showcased at film festivals throughout Europe. His short Angh garnered accolades at prestigious film festivals such as Clermont Ferrand and Palm Springs, even winning an award at Clermont, and was featured in lectures at art galleries in France. His latest short Ade (On A Sunday) had its premiere at International Film Festival of Rotterdam (IFFR)
