Toon Loenders tudied at the animation filmschool Rits in Brussels, where he made the film ‘KLOSJ’. He animated ‘Jan zonder Vrees’ a feature by Jef Cassiers. He also animated the ‘Pink Panther’ title-sequence. Toon Loenders established the production company KLADARADATSCH! NV. in 1991. He became well known for his stopmotion leaders in TV programs and Pubs. The company also released and coproduced feature films. Toon Loenders uses realsize stopmotion-techniques for most of his work. He made the titles of TV shows a.o. ‘Het Huis van Wantrouwen’, ‘De Droomfabriek’, ‘Morgen Maandag’, ‘Rad van Tong’, ‘Onvoorziene Omstandigheden’… were shown in Annecy, Utrecht, Brussels, Cinanima in Portugal… He received an alumni Award for his professional and artistic contribution and his personal contribution to outstanding productions, making the difference in culture and art. Toon Loenders starts his own new art-collective SLAMMER! art. ‘Exitus’ : a 6 episode documentary/animation series combining stopmotion and urban exploring was broadcasted on CANVAS (Belgium) and on NTR (NL).
