BIOGRAPHIE

Pierluigi Muscolino, italian filmmaker, musician and photographer, born in Rome in 1980. He first started playing music as a child, studying violin and piano at the St.Cecilia conservatory. He graduated in cinema with a thesis about “Nostalghia”, a film by Russian director Andrej Tarkovskij. In 2000 he started working at MAAT Produzione as DoP, Assistant Editor and Assistant Director. In 2014, he moved to Berlin and he started to collaborate as official photographer for the magazine IL MITTE. In 2017, together with Francesco Garbo, he founded Katzbach Film. Afterwards he started collaborating with the theatrical director and performer Daniela Marcozzi, with ACUD MACHT NEU, with the musician Louis De Cicco and the musical project Caboose. He currently works as a freelance filmmaker and photographer.
