BIOGRAPHIE

Bertil Nilsson is a director and visual artist from Sweden based in London. BROMANCE, his first short film blending a narrative and movement based approach, premiered on NOWNESS and was widely shared online with over one million aggregate views. In 2018, Nilsson wrote and directed his first narrative fiction short BAGGAGE which premiered at Underwire Film Festival and won the award for Best Music. His other short films and videos have been featured on Vimeo Staff Picks, NOWNESS, Booooooooom and Directors Notes. Previously Nilsson published two books of photography and has exhibited internationally with solo and museum shows in UK, the Netherlands, Canada and the US. Nilsson is a BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew writer/director 2018 and 2019 participant.
