Jakob Krese

BIOGRAPHIE

Jakob Krese grew up between former Yugoslavia and Germany. For several years he worked for human rights Organizations in Central America. He freelanced as photographer and author for radio feature productions. Jakob studied cinematography and directing at the Filmuniversity Konrad Wolf in Berlin, Germany, at the University of fine Arts in Havana, Cuba and at the Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Since 2017, Jakob has worked as a Director and Cinematographer for creative documentaries and TV Productions. His work was part of competition programs of major festivals like IFFR Rotterdam, Guanajuato International Film Festival, DOK-Leipzig, Asiana International Short Film Festival.
