BIOGRAPHIE

Maël Lê-Hurand is a Paris-based French-Vietnamese purpose-driven director and producer, specialized in international documentaries. He recently produced and directed THE NODEY PROCESS (2020), a music documentary that captures the identity quest and creative journey of French Vietnamese hip-hop producer Nodey, between Paris, Shanghai, and Saigon. Prior to this, he directed "Rêves de septembre" (2014), a 50-mn documentary on the 2013 Chilean student movement championning for a public universities and of the complete overhaul of the constitution, and "Hadès, la mécanique orange" (2011), a 26-min short documentary on Agent Orange - the herbicide and defoliant chemical used by the U.S. military during the Vietnam War from 1961 to 1971 - and its aftermath on today's Vietnamese population.
